Opening Speech 【Introducing the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge】 As the head of international liaison affairs at Taipei Computer Association (TCA), Taiwan’s largest ICT industry association with over 4,000 member companies, Sakura has an extensive network of executives from Taiwan’s ICT and semiconductor industries. Her team also works closely with local government agencies including the National Science & Technology Council (NSTC) and Ministry of Economic Affairs (MoEA). Sakura has been one of the leaders for the world-famous ICT event “COMPUTEX TAIPEI” for over 30 years. She is also engaging with executives around the world to explore mutual business opportunities. In 2016, she initiated “InnoVEX”, Taiwan's first and now Asia's leading startup event, and plays a crucial role in bridging Taiwanese ICT industry with the international startup communities. Sakura was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and obtained her EMBA in Industrial Management from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. She speaks fluent Mandarin, English, and Japanese.
