Cyberattacks such as ransomware have become one of the greatest business risks, causing serious consequences including operational shutdowns and information leaks. In this talk, we will review recent cases of cyber incidents and discuss the value of cybersecurity professionals who protect organizations, as well as effective approaches to developing such talent. The presentation will also introduce a variety of human resource development programs offered by the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT).
