Generative AI, with its diverse capabilities such as creativity and adaptability, is driving significant transformation even at the edge. By leveraging this technology, manufacturers can deliver intelligent product and service features that were previously unimaginable. In this seminar, we will introduce Microsoft’s newly launched Foundry Local environment, which enables Small Language Model (SLM) execution at the edge, along with use cases of AI agent collaboration between edge and cloud environments. We will also provide insights into Dell Technologies’ hardware solutions that are best suited for generative AI deployment at the edge. Additionally, we will share information about a verification kit that allows manufacturers to test SLMs as part of their journey toward implementing generative AI in their products.
