Let me introduce Intel’s Edge AI strategy and the Open Edge Platform. The Open Edge Platform is an open-source edge platform co-developed by Intel and its partners, optimized for industry-specific AI use cases. By combining a modular software stack with benchmarked hardware, it accelerates AI deployment across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, retail, and urban infrastructure. The platform provides Edge AI Suites, a management framework, and lightweight container hosts, helping to streamline development, operations, and management while reducing costs. Available on GitHub, it enables anyone to access and utilize the latest technologies. Through ecosystem collaboration, it aims to accelerate the real-world implementation of AI in society.

John Healy

John Healy is the vice president and general manager of the Industrial and Robotics Division at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for developing a robust ecosystem that includes OEMs, TEMs, developers, ISVs, IHVs, SIs, CSPs, and end customer solutions, while scaling Intel's solutions and supporting edge transformation with AI integration. Healy oversees customer and application engineering, ecosystem development, developer engagement, and product marketing. Healy has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, covering engineering, product management, customer solution engineering, network deployment, modernization through software-defined networking, and business strategy. His previous roles at Intel include vice president of Platform Management and Customer Enablement and vice president of Software Defined Datacenter Solutions Group. Healy joined Intel in 2001 at the Shannon, Ireland site as marketing manager for network processors in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
