Since April 1990, he has worked at Mazda Motor Corporation, where he was engaged in the development of electronic control systems for powertrains and in establishing model-based development (MBD) processes. In January 2016, he joined TÜV Rheinland Japan. Since July 2017, he has been with ISID Engineering Co., Ltd., providing consulting services in functional development and model-based development. In January 2022, he joined DENTSU SOKEN Inc. (formerly Information Services International-Dentsu, Ltd.), where he has been engaged in consulting for digital transformation in electronic and electric control system development, including Software-First initiatives. He is a former JMAAB committee member, a JARI-certified Functional Safety Engineer, a Measurement and Control Engineer, and serves as Director and Chair of the Editorial Board of the Reliability Engineering Association of Japan.
