In 2008, following PTC’s acquisition of CoCreate Software, Maiko Oda joined PTC Japan. As a pre-sales engineer for CAD products, Maiko supported numerous technical proposals and existing customer engagements. Since 2018, Maiko has overseen both pre-sales engineering and consulting for CAD solutions, and from 2022, has led the product-focused pre-sales engineering team. Prior to joining PTC, Maiko worked at CoCreate Software from 2000, where they were involved in sales and implementation projects for 2D CAD, 3D CAD, and PDM systems as a pre-sales engineer and consultant. Before that, Maiko was engaged in the design of power semiconductor application products at a semiconductor manufacturer, and also managed mechanical and electrical CAD systems.
