Edge AI and AI DevOps Solutions for Product Evolution
With the evolution of IoT and AI technologies, manufacturing development teams are increasingly looking to Edge AI technology as a means to enhance product value. In particular, various chip vendors are advancing development to enable AI execution on edge devices, and many products incorporating AI technology are expected to emerge in the future. In this session, we will introduce best practices for AI development and operations aligned with product requirements, along with implementation examples, utilizing AWS AI development services such as Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker for upcoming product development applications incorporating Edge AI.

Matsunaga started his career as a software engineer at a system integrator, and later moved to an electrical machinery manufacturer. After being in charge of developing and operating IoT cloud platforms for consumer products, he served as the technical division head responsible for analyzing IoT data from products, internal utilization, and AI technology. In 2025, he joined Amazon Web Services Japan G.K. As a Solutions Architect, he supports digital transformation (DX) initiatives for manufacturing customers.
