Cyber Security Ecosystem Construction Center Activity Overview

Japan Automotive ISAC (J-Auto-ISAC) has established a Security Operations Center (SOC) to collect and analyze information, providing member companies with threat and vulnerability intelligence specifically tailored to the automotive sector. Additionally, a Technical Committee was formed to support the enhancement of practical cybersecurity capabilities within member companies through ongoing initiatives. In this presentation, we will introduce the background and activities of the newly established "Cybersecurity Ecosystem Construction Center (CSECC)," which was separated from the Technical Committee and launched this fiscal year.

The speaker has worked at an IT vendor affiliated with an electronics manufacturer, engaging in quality assurance for basic software such as mainframes OS, UNIX, and Linux. In 2018, he was seconded to Astemo Co., Ltd., and later transferred permanently. He was involved in the launch of J-Auto-ISAC through the J-Auto-ISAC Liaison Subcommittee of the Japan Auto Parts Industries Association (JAPIA). Since 2023, he has served as Deputy Director of the J-Auto-ISAC Support Center, and from 2025, as Deputy Director of the J-Auto-ISAC Cybersecurity Ecosystem Construction Center. He continues to contribute to the advancement of cybersecurity in the automotive industry.
