Joined Trend Micro in 2001 after working in corporate IT. Initially worked as a pre-sales engineer for large enterprises and public institutions. Later contributed to launching new business initiatives, including embedded PC security for consumers and managed services for enterprises. From 2012, focused on control system security through solution development, participation in industry groups, and public speaking. Expanded into IoT security in 2016, and began leading a new team dedicated to automotive cybersecurity in 2022. In 2024, transitioned to VicOne, Trend Micro’s automotive security subsidiary, to lead the Japan technical team.
