Widely used AI and AI driven hardware have increased the demand for high-power supply to data centers. To efficiently handle power requirements exceeding 100kW, the trend in server power supply is shifting from the method using PDU, power taps for rack towards a centralized power supply system. This system provides DC power to servers via busbars from power shelves. Alongside bus duct systems, methods utilizing distribution panels (RPPs) to supply power to individual racks are also gaining traction. This seminar will introduce trends in power distribution methods within data centers as well as high-efficient, reliable and energy-saving power connectivity solutions.
