Kengo Hayashi
He joined DENSO CORPORATION in 2003. Worked on software development of a driving support system using an ultrasonic sensor after software development of a navigation system. He leads the construction of the mechanism of the product line of the software with the aim of the multiple model development of the automobile. In 2007, he ran for an in-house pilot project of the derivative development process XDDP, and received a consultant from Dr. Yoshio Shimizu, where he devoted himself to learning the engineering of derivative development. After that, Keiji Kobata took part in a top-gun training program, which he organized, and with the guidance of Professor Mikio Aoyama of Nanzan University, he devoted himself to publishing papers at conferences in Japan and overseas. He received his Ph.D. in Software Engineering from Nanzan University in 2018. The research focuses on the architecture and process of combining agile and product line development to manage the development of multiple models.

20 years since joining Fuji Xerox in 1983, engaged in the development of controller software for network printers and digital multifunction devices, and in charg of SPI promotion since 2004. Implemented system construction, policy planning and promotion activities across department to improve software quality and reduce rework centered on process improvement. As part of that, promoted activities to introduce and deploy XDDP in our organization from 2011 to 5 years. From 2020, active mainly in the development of younger generations and the activities of external study groups in the industry from the standpoint of retirement age reemployment.
