Since 2006, I have been an expert on international standardization of ISO26262 functional safety, and since then have been engaged in the chairman of the electronics safety subcommittee within JAMA. At the same time, I am also the secretary of the Information Security Subcommittee of the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan and is in charge of cyber security. As the subcommittee chairman of JAMA, I am the chief examiner of the communication security WG of JASIC (World Forum for Harmonization of Automotive Standards), and he is also participating in the Cyber Security Informal Working Group of the United Nations WP29 from the standpoint of domestic authorities.
