Embedded systems are equipped with functions such as AI and machine learning, and continue to evolve into devices called intelligent edges. Linux is very popular at these intelligent edges. Linux is a very flexible and extensible platform that uses abundant OSS and adds functions through container technology. On the other hand, there are many issues such as security vulnerabilities, OSS updates, and maintainability. In this lecture, we will describe the issues to be considered in product development in embedded Linux, and also introduce the latest trends and CI / CD development process surrounding embedded Linux.
