Innovation based Management
<Abstract>
I have been promoting what I call 'Innovation based Management' for Japanese companies.
Even before COVID-19, it was obvious that digital society will come and VUCA(Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Abbiguity) environment, we were in will be accelerated. For any companies, especially for the Japanese companies, 'Innovation' is the critical missing piece and to implement into the organization, cultural transformation is needed. This is not just for incubation, new business development. The biggest benefi will come from core/base business of the organizations, which generate the biggest revenue and PL. In this approach, analyze tangible/intangible assets, set the priorities and promote entrepreneurship with power of digital. With revitalizing Japanese companies, solving social challenges, Japan will recover its position in the world.

<Abstract>
Many companies have been accelerating their digital transformation (DX) efforts. Management has also recognized the importance of DX, and they are addressing DX as an important management issue, rather than just IT.
At the same time, they are working on software first and agile.
But haven't these three words, DX, software-first, and agile, become so purposeful and they've become separate initiatives?
In this presentation, I will introduce the essence of DX, which is to ""Rebuild on the digital premise.l"", as well as hints for processes and systems to promote it.
