The role of Human-Centered Design Management in realizing “Social Implementation of Edge Technology”

*Japanese only

In order to incorporate and make use of the advancements of digital technology within our society, we need to practice HCD (Human-Centered Design)― that is, the continuous cycle of verifying prototypes and implementing changes based on research and ideas rooted in the realities of society, of real people and their lifestyles. We see how important this is when we take a look at some of the world’s leading tech companies (GAFAM, SAP, IBM and more). This lecture will examine the ways in which leading-edge enterprises practice HCD, and discuss the concept and methods of “Human Centered Design Management”― a management approach that will empower Japanese enterprises to successfully practice HCD.
