After engaging in software development at a medical device manufacturer, he was involved in development projects and consulting at a foreign real-time OS vendor. After that, he oversaw the sales engineering department at an embedded Linux vendor, and served as vice chairman of the Embedded Linux Association, a member of the JASAOSS Utilization WG, and a member of the OSS Promotion Forum Embedded Committee. Currently, he is responsible for solutions for the general embedded market at BlackBerry.
