Edge AI opens up a super smart society that supports the human emotion and life
Currently, we are required to use post-corona digital technology to pioneer new information technology for a super smart society (Scoeity 5.0). In a super smart society, services are required not only for industry but also for people's lives, their minds and bodies.
Edge AI is attracting attention as a new information infrastructure that will help realize these services. Edge uses Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) to perform real-time processing and large-capacity data processing that is difficult to offload to the cloud using nearby edge computers instead of existing remote clouds. We are currently researching and developing MEC and MEC middleware, aiming to realize advanced AI processing and high throughput processing by unified management and utilization of power-saving hardware accelerators and high-performance hardware. We are promoting the use of Society 5.0 applications.
