He has worked for an IT service provider, a consulting firm, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Digital Agency before assuming his current position. He was responsible for the national data strategy at the Digital Agency, where he drove the strategy, platform development, service realization, and international coordination. Since April 2023, he has been promoting the infrastructures of the digital society, including software engineering, digital transformation, and innovation, as well as data strategy, from a comprehensive and global perspective. He is also in charge of AI and human resource development. He concurrently holds a position at the Digital Agency and is a part-time lecturer at the University of Tokyo.
