In recent years, the manufacturing industry is increasingly requiring production systems that are resilient to changes in order to respond to several demands rapidly due to diversification of values. At our company, we have been promoting “Advanced Automation“ in the Toyota Production System using a "software-first" and "agile" approach. In order to further evolve, we are also working on flexible process automation and multi-skilled workers using "human collaborative robots." To this end, we have begun actively utilizing ``Generative AI.‘’ In this program, we will introduce specific examples of how generative AI and human collaborative robots can flexibly perform tasks and tackle to process changes, and will provide prospects for a future society where humans and robots work together, not just in the manufacturing industry. We would like to think about the future possibilities of ``Generative AI and human collaborative robots‘’ with everyone.
