Special session

Launch of IVI's in-house development organization, 7 years of history and outcome.

IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) is often recognized as the primary function for navigation, but as vehicles become connected to the Internet, they are becoming infotainment terminals that provide even more value. Honda has been trying to respond to faster evolution/change as well as to reduce costs by implementing IVI in-house. This presentation will cover the history of our organization from its beginnings to the launch of IVI, as well as our outcomes.
