What is required to cybersecurity and data governance for development of software-defined vehicle?

With new applications such as autonomous driving in vehicles, the scale of software development is growing exponentially. In addition, as the number of vehicle models equipped with new applications increases, it is necessary to develop a wide variety of software for individual models. As a result, high development costs and poor software quality are major concerns. One way to overcome this challenging situation is to apply the SDV concept. For example, by separating the hardware from the software, OTA has the effect of making it easy to update the software even after it goes to market. On the other hand, there are some technical areas where SDV is difficult to apply to applications that require safety and security for vehicles. It addresses cybersecurity measures to prevent degradation of software quality and regulatory requirements for data uploaded via OTA. This session will introduce cybersecurity and data governance solutions that can take advantage of SDV development.
