C/C++ static code analysis x testing for today's software-first car development
Software-first vehicles require both development speed and high quality, even as the complexity and scale of development tend to increase. In this situation, MBD (model-based development, model-based design) is used to improve development efficiency, and AUTOSAR-compliant development is used to improve software reusability and compatibility. Static code analysis is essential for the shift-left of these developments, and automation including testing by CI tools is effective. This seminar will introduce the key points to ensure safety & security and improve quality and release cycles for various hand-written and automatically generated codes in MBD.

I have been working in the embedded software industry for nearly 20 years in a wide range of fields, mainly in the development of in-vehicle systems using MBD (Model Based Development, Model Based Design) as a system engineer and project manager, As a pre-sales engineer, I am in charge of the lead engineer in Japan for Polyspace, a static code analysis tool/unit test tool, and have a lot of experience in supporting the companies that start MBD in the future.
