Most of the new devices on the Internet aren’t laptops or servers or any of the things we know how to secure. They’re IOT devices, and we roll them out in critical roles with zero understanding of how they expand our attack surface. The only way to understand and improve our resilience is by thorough cybersecurity testing of IOT devices so that we can make intelligent deployment and defensive decisions.
