The evolution of vehicles into SDV is becoming a reality. Along with this transformation, E/E architecture is shifting from domain to zonal and central. However, several new challenges must be addressed to achieve this. These include accelerating development speed, decoupling software from hardware, optimizing in-vehicle communication, and adopting cloud-based development environments. At the same time, industry-specific requirements such as functional safety remain critical elements that must continue to be addressed. In this session, Elektrobit will explain these challenges and present solutions from the perspective of a software vendor.
