Sharing examples of installing EdgeAI on electrically assisted bicycles
In November 2023, Panasonic Cycle-Tech launched the industry's first electrically power assisted bicycle [Timo A] equipped with edge AI.
In this presentation, I would like to introduce what we did from the planning conception to the development of the edge AI and the key points we worked on until the edge AI was installed in the embedded microcomputer.
I will also touch on the steps of acquiring organizational knowledge and team building that led to the practical application of the technology, and share my reflections on how I, as a manager, brewed a culture of working on new technologies.
