Comparison of Generative AI Utilization Between Japan and the United States

Initially, Japan was ahead of the United States in the utilization of generative AI, but this trend has reversed over the past year. Compared to Japan, the United States has made more progress in multimodal utilization, sets customer satisfaction as a major KPI, develops new services, actively implements risk management measures, promotes AI across various departments, and reallocates freed-up resources into new investments. What should Japanese companies learn from these American methods? PwC Japan Group will provide insights and recommendations to Japanese companies, which still have ample potential to catch up, accompanied by relevant case studies.
