How to Utilize the Domestic IoT Labeling System:
A Case Study of Connected Homes

"IoT Product Security Conformity Assessment" is in its final stages of consideration for implementation. The Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA) is the scheme owner. Our association has been collaborating with the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) to discuss the utilization of this system in the Connected home sector this fiscal year. During our presentation, we will provide updates on the latest developments in the Connected home sector. Specifically, we will explore how the labeling system can be used in Connected homes, involving various stakeholders such as house manufacturers, residential equipment manufacturers, and home appliance (IoT device) manufacturers. We will also address the potential and challenges of this system.
