Ainkaran Krishnarajah is a principal advisor for Ovum, with expertise in the telecommunication, media and technology sectors. Ainkaran is an experienced senior executive and has held numerous influential roles in corporate strategy, management consulting, commercial/finance, sales, and engineering.

Prior to working with Ovum, Ainkaran led Corporate Strategy at telecommunications carrier Singtel Optus and worked at top-tier management consulting firm Booz & Company as well as at Telstra. Ainkaran started his career at telecommunications infrastructure vendor Ericsson where he held roles in deployment of mobile networks, sales, R&D, standardisation of 3G and 4G during the late 1990s and has been awarded several patents in the field of wireless communications.

He holds an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (2005), a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science both from the University of Western Australia (1997).
